We charge a $275.00 fee for a 45 minute consultation.
How do you bill for your legal services?
In family law cases and criminal cases, we typically bill for our services on a flat fee basis for each portion of the case. In cases dealing with CPS matters, our services require a retainer and we bill on a hourly basis for all work performed.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Please bring any relevant documents related to your case, such as police reports, court documents, and any correspondence you have received. This will help us better understand your situation and provide you with the best possible advice.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do not offer payment plans through our Firm but there is a financing option through LawPay that we can provide you information on.
What types of cases does Morris Law Firm handle?
We primarily focus on family and criminal law matters. However, from time to time we take on personal injury cases, wills and estate planning, business formations, etc.
What is the typical legal process like?
Every case is unique, so there is not necessarily a “typical” process. During our initial consultation, we will do our best to provide you with the roadmap for your case and update you about its progress.
Will I have to go to court or is it possible to settle out of court?
Every case is different and unique and so it will depends on the specifics of your case. While divorce and other family law matters can typically be mediated, many criminal cases may leave no other option other than taking the case to a jury trial. Your case will be evaluated and handled in the best way possible.
